Lloyd and Ellen Phinney will celebrate their 65th anniversary on February 12. Their four children, David Phinney from Eugene, OR, Jerri Williams from Lynnwood, WA, Terri Syverson from Woodland, CA, and Linda Fairbanks from Orting, WA, will host a reception on February 14, at 8301 Tieton Dr., Yakima, at the Mobile Manor Club House from 2-4.
Lloyd and Ellen Phinney worked and played in the Yakima Valley for most of their lives. Lloyd worked for Smith Funeral Home as a Funeral Director and Ellen was a florist. In the next phase of their lives, they decided to have fun, so Lloyd started making things with wood and Ellen sold what he made. Then they opened a Thomas Kinkade Gallery in Sunnyside and had a fabulous time helping people pick out just the right picture for their home and family. Now they are making glass flowers and bird feeders that they sell at the Farmers Market. They have eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren with one on the way.
If you know Lloyd and Ellen, please join us in celebrating 65 wonderful years together.
